What IS PROFOUND RF + PLUS JUVEDERM?
SKIN TIGHTENING PLUS DERMAL FILLERS FOR PROFOUND RESULTS
A brainchild of Dr. Kuzmar, who has been working with RF microneedling technology in combination treatments since 2010 (one of the first cosmetic physicians in Canada to do so), Profound RF Plus combines the skin tightening properties of radio frequency microneedling with dermal fillers. The “Plus” in this instance is Juvederm’s Vycross line of fillers that are used as part of the treatment to restore volume to areas of deflation such as cheeks, nasolabial lines, jawline and lips. Dr. Kuzmar developed the Profound RF Plus Non-Surgical Facelift to offer his patients one comprehensive treatment to dramatically reverse the signs of aging (wrinkles and sagging) without going under the knife.
BUILDING FOUNDATION FOR SKIN REJUVENATION
The standard protocol of Profound RF Plus calls for one treatment of radio frequency micro-needling to be performed, followed 12-16 weeks later by Juvederm vycross injections. The advantage of performing Profound RF first is to strengthen the demal matrix or ‘scaffolding’ of the skin thereby creating a much stronger support framework for the fillers. With newly created thicker tighter tissue, the dermal filler lifts more effectively, so patients looking to add volume to their mid and lower face can expect a more pleasing and enhanced result.
